William Henry McWhorter, born August 25, 1926 passed away on January 1, 2013 at age 86. Preceded in death by parents William Buford and Annie Helen McWhorter, sister Inez Troxler and brothers Kenneth, Ronny & Bobby McWhorter. Survived by his loving wife Florence Mae McWhorter, whom he married on June 28, 1947; son William H. McWhorter, Jr (Dub) & wife Dana McWhorter of Alvin, son Michael G. McWhorter, wife Nancy McWhorter of Pasadena; grandchildren, Tammy McWhorter Pavalock & husband Bryan Pavalock, Steven Wade McWhorter, Ashley Nicole McWhorter; great-grandchild, Michael Loren McWhorter.
Visitation will be 5-8pm on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 11am, Monday, January 7, 2013 followed by interment in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
