

The Lord called Willie Mae Davis, 62 home to live with him on Monday, November 4, 2019. She passed away peacefully at her home. Willie Mae Hollinquest was born February 11,1957 in Jonesboro Louisiana to Betty Raye Frost and Yanni Junior Hollinquest.
She attended Gideon Missionary Baptist Church where Pastor James Grant was the pastor. She really loved her church and the members and would assist anywhere she could. Willie Mae was diagnosed with diabetes and she rarely lost her spirit even when she was confined to a hospital bed for extended periods.
On December 21, 1972, Willie Mae married Abe Davis Jr. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Willie Mae Davis was a longtime resident of Houston, Texas. Willie Mae loved cooking and playing cards and dominoes. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and making dolls to sell and for decorating her house. She became an expert with a hot glue gun and skilled in embellishing shirts and jackets. She was a spiritual woman and held an unwavering Faith in God which she shared with those who surrounded her.
Willie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Raye Hollinquest, Yanni Junior Hollinquest and a brother Danny Ray Hollinquest.
and leaves to cherish her loving memory, four children, Sean Jermaine Davis, Carlesha Reanon Davis, Tyrone Davis and Abe Davis III; grandchildren, Brandon Davis, De’Andre Davis, Tysha Davis and Tnaja Davis; great grandchildren, Ke’Untae Corde Davis and Trinity Davis; siblings, Gwen Daniels, Timothy Hollinquest, Beverly Hollinquest and a host of other relatives and friends.
