Wilma Jean Fitzgerald

Wilma Jean Fitzgerald, age 66, lost her battle for life on Sunday September 23, 2012 in Houston, Texas. Wilma was brought into this precious life on April 12, 1946 in Calhoun County, Alabama where she was raised and later moved to Houston, Texas where she raised her own family and then retired to Cleveland, Texas. Wilma enjoyed the basics of life with gardening and getting an occasional kick out of a Mario video game but what she cherished most was quality time with her family and friends and absolutely adored her dog, Little Girl.

Wilma was preceded in death by her Mother: Fronia Simmons, Father: Charles Zastawnik, Daughter: Desiree Wallace and Son: Denley Dewane Wallace. Wilma is survived by her Daughter: Wilma “Missy” Wallace, Brothers: Edward Denley Zastawnik and Wife Sherrie Beard, Henry Charles Zastawnik and Wife Betty. Nephew: Johnny Jones and Wife Kimberly and Grandchildren: Kenneth Blackstock, J.T. Jones, Cody Jones, Stormi Fannin, Samantha Jones and Cameron Radtke and many other treasured family and friends.

Wilma’s life can be summed up in one word: Generous. She generously gave to her family and friends because she always put others above herself.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday September 26, 2012 from 5pm – 8pm. The Funeral service will be at 10am on Thursday September 27, 2012 with graveside service to follow. Viewing and Funeral will be held at Earthman Resthaven in Houston, Texas.

Wilma was a Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to so many. She will be deeply missed and is forever loved.
