Doris M. Kern

Doris M. Kern, 95 of Huntington passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor. Doris was a 1943 graduate of Huntington High School. She worked as a machine operator at Memcor for 33 years, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she loved her cats. She was born on August 18, 1924 in Huntington, the daughter of Edward P. and Alma M. (Bowers) Kern. Survivors include: several nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters: Hildreth Ramsden, Eileen Reed and Mildred Hasty. Private family graveside service will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington County.
