Amanda Dawn Hopkins

Amanda Dawn Hopkins, age 47, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born March 14, 1974 in California and graduated in the class of 1992 at Buckhorn High School in New Market, Alabama. Amanda loved animals and she cared deeply for every person that she ever had the chance to meet, and her love and kindness towards others could always bring a smile to someone’s face. She will always be loved and dearly missed.

Amanda is preceded in death by her father, William Orcutt, sister Shawna Mascolino, grandparents James and Rose Greenhill, grandmother Betty Hicks, and uncle Edward Greenhill.

Amanda is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby Hopkins, parents Edwin and Debbie Wells, mother-in-law Mammie Halcomb Davis, her three daughters Adriana Zetko and Kaitlyn and Gabriele Gelenski, grandchildren Alison and Jasper Malone, siblings Scott Wells, Terri Fulcher, William Orcutt Jr., and sister-in-law Tiffany Hopkins, aunt and uncle Vivian and David Aldridge, nephews RJ Mascolino and Alex McKinley, and nieces Abbi McKinley and April Woodward.

We will celebrate her life at a date and location that to be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society.
