

Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Bird Pryor, daughter of the late Julius Bird and Elizabeth Cohen Bird was born June 4, 1938 in Colorado. She was the middle child of the family, having 1 older sister (Caroline Kuhrt), a younger sister (Linnie Redding) and a younger brother (Tom Bird). She attended and graduated from the public school in Walden, Colorado.
She was married to Mr. George Washington Pryor on Thanksgiving of 1958. This marriage was blessed with 2 children: a son (Lawrence Pryor) and a daughter (Julie Pryor). They resided in numerous states during his military service. She was a strong and dutiful military wife, standing by his side during numerous military deployments, including two tours to Korea and the Vietnam War.
In their free time, they enjoyed living life to the fullest by riding their motorcycle together. They took frequent weekend motorcycle trips to the mountains, as Mrs. Pryor loved the feeling of going around curvy roads the most. She was an avid reader, which she passed on to her daughter and granddaughter. She also enjoyed completing various kinds of puzzles such as Sudoku, jigsaw puzzles, and word searches. Most recently, she was enjoying being a Great Grandmother to Luna (Rebecca’s daughter).
Mrs. Pryor was an active member in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. As a result of her loving and outgoing personality, she was loved dearly by many. Her love and influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She passed peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Her beautiful life and love will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband: Retired Master Sargent George Washington Pryor; siblings: Caroline Kuhrt (Sister), Linnie Redding (Sister), and Tom Bird (Brother); children: Julie Pryor (Daughter), Lawrence Pryor & Christie Pryor (Son & Daughter in Law); Grandchildren: Rebecca Bravo & Erick Bravo (Granddaughter & Grandson in Law); Jacob Pryor (Grandson); Katelyn Pryor & Preston Johnson (Granddaughter & Soon to be Grandson in Law); Brittany Pryor (Granddaughter); Luna Bravo (Great Granddaughter); as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
