Argelee Burnett Young

Argie was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) T. Young, her parents, one sister Zellah Carlton and six brothers Vernon, Velon, JG, NC, Jack and Clinton Burnett.

Argie was a devoted wife and loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Huntsville. Her favorite activities were traveling, line dancing, bowling and walking. She cherished every visit and phone call from friends and especially family.

Argie is survived by her son Jeffery Young (Cindy) and daughter Kathy Honaker (Herb). Grandchildren Joey McBride (Kim), Erica Pasquier (Matt) and Dustin Honaker (Carla). Great grandchildren Jordan Cooley, Tyler Forbush, Fairen Pasquier, Tristan McBride, Tess Honaker, Elise Honaker and Emilia Honaker. Two brothers Harrold Burnett (Mae) and Doyle Burnett (Donna) and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Argie will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Serenity Room at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
