Caleb Chandler Doss

Caleb Doss, 29, of Huntsville, Alabama left our lives way to soon on January 24, 2025 to begin his walk with God. Caleb was the beloved son of Clay and Renee Doss. He leaves behind his brother and sister in law Tyler and Hope, and a new baby niece Jovie, two children, Jackson 4 and Gracie 7. Grandparents Norm and Norma Craig and many friends, too many to count.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Jack and Ruth McBride and Bill Doss. Great grandparents Lanford and Inez Shields and Weldon and Ester McBride.

Caleb graduated from Buckhorn High School in 2015. He loved Alabama football and the Boston Celtics. He was happiest with friends floating the Flint, fishing, and throwing a little mud on the tires. He loved his rap music and country, windows down, arm out and music up.

Caleb will be remembered for loving his children, his infectious smile, the ability to make people laugh and be the friend you needed in the darkest of days.

For those still in the dark days, our family ask you to let Caleb light your path and be your inspiration. You are loved, deserving and worthy. Don’t give up. Keep fighting. God is good all the time.

Caleb will be laid to rest on Friday, January 31, 2025. Visitation will be from 11-12pm with service beginning at 12pm in the Chapel. We would like to encourage everyone to dress in your favorite team colors. Bama shirts and hats would be perfect for his celebration of life. RTR
