Carmen Perinan Buckner

She was born in Colón, Panama and came to the United States speaking only Spanish. She took pride in learning the English language and receiving her US citizenship.

Previously from the Scottsboro area, she was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church. She later moved to Huntsville to be near her daughters and grandchildren.

She dedicated her life to her faith and taking care of her family. She was well known for her amazing cooking & sewing skills.

Carmen is preceded in her death by her parents and her aunt.

Survivors include, daughters Michelle Falcon (James) and Gisella Sharp (Tim). Grandchildren, Christian Falcon, Anna Falcon, Lydia Sharp, David Sharp, & Mary Ellis Sharp. Sister, Judy Rivas of San Antonio, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

Carmen's family will be holding a small private service at her request at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Clearview Cancer Institute.
