Carolyn was born in Huntsville, AL on May 31, 1950, to Roy Molen Abraham Barley and Willie Mae Naymon Barley who precedes her in death as well as her sister; Patsy Faye Kyle, her brothers; Barry Roy Barley and Larry Darnell.
Carolyn was a lady that lived life to the fullest and used every day to accomplish something to help others in their lives. Carolyn was a devoted employee for 20 years with Huntsville Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, Aunt and friend.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 48 years; William Harold Russell, sons; Tim Kirby his wife Stephanie, and Shannon Kirby, daughter; Rebecca Russell, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, brother; Sam Barley, his wife Charlene, sister; Diane Jones, and her husband Larry.
The family will have a private service with interment at Valhalla Funeral Home and Memory Gardens 698 Winchester Rd, NE Huntsville, AL 35811.
