Charles Ralph Everhart

Charles graduated from Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Ohio, received a Bachelor's Degree of Science from Kent State University and a Master's Degree in Math and Physics from UAH. He was a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America and Phi Kappa Phi Chapter 149 at UAH. Charles proudly served in the United States Army.

He used his education to work with missile defense contractors, with the last one being Boeing. Charles was an accomplished drummer and played the drums in bands in New Jersey, Chicago, St. Louis and Huntsville. He was always learning new things, sail boating, flying single engine planes, water color painting and construction. He also had a great love of Corvettes!

Charles is survived by his wife; Terri Colwell Everhart, his son; Hilary Wade Burton, granddaughter; Presley L. Burton, grandson; Hilary Maddox Burton. He is also survived by sister and brother in laws; Debby M. and Roger Minor, Pat Colwell, Arthur R. and Nita Colwell, John E. and Lisa Colwell, Roger B. and Angela Colwell, Sandra D. and Ralph Lasater, Richard A. and Leda Colwell and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service for Charles will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 2:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
