He is survived by his former wife, Doris Lee Hickey; two sons, Charles Michael Hickey and
Frank Douglas Hickey; one daughter, Linda Grace Handback; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren;
and Sandy Hughey, a loving companion for over 20 years. Mr. Hickey retired from the Chrysler Corporation as a skilled
trade supervisor in 1986. He was a member and past president of the North Alabama region of the Antique Automobile Club of America.
Ray was a seven time winner of the prestigious Totcky Award. Mr. Hickey was a US Navy veteran and supporter of the
Wounded Warrior Project. You may visit with the family at Valhalla Funeral Home on Tuesday September 8, 2015
from 5 to 6 pm for the memorial visitation. A memorial service will follow at 6 pm.
