Dep Thi Hong

Dep Thi Hong, 83 of Saigon, Vietnam, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at her home in Huntsville, Alabama. Dep was preceded in death by her father; Xanh Hong, mother; Nhieu Thi ome in Huntsville, Alabama. Dep was preceded in death by her father; Xanh Hong, mother; Nhieu Thi Nguyen, and her daughter; Thi Minh Vu.

Left to cherish her memories are many brothers and sisters, her two daughters; Ha Vu (Hung Nguyen) and Trang Vu (Nhan Le), her two sons; Phuc Vu (Dung Nguyen) and Ngan Lam (Loan Nguyen), her grandchildren; Peter Nguyen, Mary Nguyen, Kathy Vu (Brandon Stepp), Daniel Vu, Denny Vu, An Lam, Khang Lam, and Johnny Lam.

Her personal interest included family, friends, cinema, music, cooking and going on adventures. She devoted most of her time and energy as a caregiver to her family members. Her charm and smile brightened rooms as well as the lives of everyone who had ever met her, Dep will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed.

Visitation for Dep will be held 10 am to 11 am at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
