Dillion was a friend of mine in middle school, we had history and band together and he always made me laugh the deepest belly laughs. It’s been 8ish years now since he passed and I still think about him often. He was such a light during his time in this world and I hope his spirit knows that his family and friends still think about him even though time has passed.

Dillon was a great friend of mine and here recently I have been recalling memories between us, he is a great person his laugh was the best part of him.

Dillon Ewald was the most beautiful person I ever met.  He was my best friend through everything I ever went through.  I watched him grow & I watched him learn and succeed. I was there through through his hardships, scraped knees and June bug attacks.  We celebrated 13 birthdays together.  There was not a point in the last 13 years that I was ever alone because I had this sweet boy by my side.  Through thick and thin he was my rock.  He was so sweet.  He REALLY listened when we talked, even as a small child he always just listened.  Dillon made me laugh a lot, we shared so many jokes.  We both had a love for sushi.  He was everything to me.  No matter what, he was and always will be my precious son.  Dillon was great at everything he did.  He was on the A & A/B honor roll his entire life.  I was so proud of him.  I think about the days when he was with us and cherish every memory.

Dylan was the most amazing person ever. He lit up a room the instant he walked in. He was always smiling and laughing and being a normal kid. Dylan was like a brother to me and he will always be in my heart

The best saxophone player, my best friend, and a one of a kind person.

A saxophone player will never be forgotten.

So miss my grandson.!.  We played football, golfed, prayed, kayaked, fished, shot targets, went camping, talked, joked and teased each other, laughed, and talked about God's love for him and how he will never ever leave him.  Dillon will have the inside scoop on Heaven and will give us the guided tour when we see him again.

I met Dillon when he was a very small child (perhaps 3 or 4). His mom and I became friends because we were neighbors. Dillon was a sweet soul and I am so sorry that his work on Earth ended so soon. Rest in heaven Angel

My daughter went to school with Dillon. When she came home last Thursday after hearing the news she focused on her good memories of knowing Dillon. One thing that she remembered was his laugh. She said no matter how silly something was he would always laugh and his laugh was contagious. Our families thoughts go out to his family and friends and pray they comfort you during this time.

Our son's went to Buckhorn together, we would like to express our condolences to Dillon's family. We have made a flower cross and would like to place at it his grave site as we were unable to attend funeral services. If possible, contact us with the information on the burial site. I remember running into Dillon on Halloween, He was rocking the bacon costume.

Dillio, lots of love. I miss you. Always replaying jokes in my head. Never forgetting your laugh. Smile. Kind heart. Once a good friend, always a good friend.

  We are so very sorry to hear of your tragic loss. We will be praying for all of you in your family..to have the strength...to get through the upcoming days. And, we will continue to pray as for you all...the weeks and months go on.

Dillon was a very special friend of mine. He was always smiling and made us happy. It was hard not to smile when you saw him. My biggest regret is not helping him. The most I can do now is to never forget him. And I promise I will never forget.

Our hearts go out to y'all , Jodi , Ron , Tommy, and Lily. We pray God will embrace and comfort you all now and in the days to come.

Jodi & Ron, our sons met on the football field in 2013. My son had never played football before & was nervous about practices/games. Dillon was one of only 2 boys that helped him in practices & games to become a better athlete & person. After that season we found out you were building a home in our subdivision & the boys were ecstatic. They could hang out with each other all summer long! Their friendship continued & I felt blessed as a mom, to have your sweet son as a friend, mentor to my child...He will be truly missed!!

There will be an empty chair at the holiday table this year, but it will be filled with loving memories.

Dillon was a friend of mine that lit up a room with his smile and never had I seen him with a frown on his face. I sat by him during band and I always thought to myself how much better he was at the sax than me. He will never be forgotten by anyone and I pray for your family as you go through this tough time.

Dillon was a great friend. He always had something nice, always had a smile on his face and was a great saxophone player. I sat next to Dillon in class and he would scolde me ( yet laugh when he did) if I played something wrong.  He taught me alot in the time that I knew him. Great musical talent.  He will missed greatly.

We are so so sorry for your loss. Dillon was such an amazing , well mannered and respectful kid. He was one of those kids you enjoyed seeing ringing your doorbell to come over to play with your kid. We will all miss him coming over to our home. Jayden and I will definitely miss all of the of basketball we played in the driveway. It is out prayer that the God of heaven will take your entire family and envelope you all with his comfort and peace during this most difficult time. My daughter rode the bus with Dillon this year. The first thing she shared with me as we discussed Dillon's passing, is that he was the first person to speak to her on the bus. He said, "Hey, Alyssa." And she wondered how he knew her name.  They had many conversations on the bus. She says he was a very sweet, kind hearted person, and always wore a smile. He will be greatly missed. I continue to pray for your family and this community as we mourn the loss of such a precious young man.

I never got to personally meet Dillon but I knew who he was if was just given some more time we could been great friends your family is in are prays R.I.P Dillon he will truly be missed

I had Dillon last year in Language Arts. He was the most polite and kind-hearted young man. He came every day with a desire to learn and something nice to say to me. Our class read the novel, The Giver. He finished the book before the class and began reading the entire series. He kept wanting me to read the 2nd book. I think he got tired of me telling him that I would try.  He loaned me his copy and told me I had to read them all and that an English teacher should always read the series and never just stop with the first book. I think of him every time I pick up a novel that is part of a series. I promise you, I will ALWAYS read the 2nd book just for Dillon. I really love that sweet boy and am very thankful for having him in class. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!!!

I was privileged to meet Dillion earlier this year and we had a long talk about his bunny and animals in general. He would have been a wonderful vet. I am sure that anyone who met him will be grieving at the loss of this fine young man.
