We are very sorry to hear the passing of John's cousin Debbie! We will pray for the family and offer our condolences.
Our fondest memory of Debbie is a shared 4th of July at Aunt Vi's home when all the grand kids and our Andrew were shooting off fireworks. One landed on Debbie and she jumped out of her lawn chair and ran a few feet. Everyone was laughing and having a great time.

Bette, I have so many happy memories of the great times I had with you and your family when I visited from England and you came over to stay with me to visit Crufts Dog Show.
Seeing for myself your kennel of lovely Schipperkes (I brought one home and she's still with me).
Running the Boarding Kennel, looking out for mum, Miss Vi, home schooling Gabriel the eldest of your grandsons. I was full of admiration for you and so proud to become your friend.
Yes, Bette, I shall remember you with great affection.
RIP Dear Friend xxx

John - so sorry to hear of Bette’s passing. Hugs and prayers to you and the boys. I remember the day you guys were married, we( Mom, Dad and sisters) traveled to Alabama for the wedding and it was hot and we were all really thirsty and was offered ice tea, and unbeknownst to us it was sweetened and tasted awful to us !
