After several years there he and his family moved to Huntsville AL. He spent many years working at Redstone Arsenal with The Army Missile Defense Command, as a Quality Assurance Specialist. He worked on the Apollo 11 Mission, and the Hellfire Missile. He enjoyed boating on the lake in the summers, working in his yard at his church, but his true passion was woodworking. He made many things for his family, friends and church. He became very skilled at woodwork, making much of his own furniture in is home. He also did all the wood work during the construction of his home. He traveled many places with his job but his favorite travel was mission trips with his church to the Navajo Indian Reservation.
