SGT. Gerald Larkin Gibbs, 61, of New Market, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014. He was born in New York City, New York (Borough- Richmond) on June 09, 1953 to James Larkin Gibbs and Bobbie Jean Reeves Gibbs. SGT. Gibbs is preceded in death by his father and his wife, Elizabeth Ann Gibbs.
Before SGT. Gibbs’ career in the heating and cooling industry, he served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, earning an honorable discharge.
Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his mother, Bobbie Jean Gibbs; son, Christopher (Angie) Gibbs; daughter, Lori Gibbs Midkiff; brother, Jimmy Gibbs; sister, Cathy Edge and five grandchildren.
