Homer Ray Mitchell, age 82, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Mr. Mitchell was born October 5, 1938 to the late Henry B. Mitchell and Mattie Treece Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell is preceded in death by his brother, Donald T. Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Mitchell. His son, Mike Mitchell and his wife Susan; four grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; as well as one sister, Barbara Gangl.
