RET MSG James Howard Hall, age 84, of Meridianville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023. Jim was born on May 6, 1938. He was raised in Florence, Alabama with his siblings, Otis, Luther and Inez.
Jim served 21 years in the Army and retired at the rank of Master Sergeant. He then served another 25 years as a civilian employee on Redstone Arsenal.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Sherry Oswald and Lori Mitchell; step-daughter, Mary Rose Allen; three grandchildren, Amanda Sharp, Austin Mitchell and Samantha Mitchell; step-granddaughter, Helen Ricks; one great grandchild, Oliver Sharp.
A Funeral Service for James will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 at 12:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Interment, with full military honors will immediately follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in the garden of Good Shepherd.
