John Manuel Lott

Mr. Lott is survived by his wife of 65 years, Audrey Swafford Lott; daughter, Wanda Tankersley (Patrick) of Jacksonville, FL; sons, John “Mickey” Lott (Nancy) of Lawrenceville, GA, Lennon Lott (Lynn) of Gurley, AL; eight grandchildren, Angela Tankersley Kalem, Jeremy Tankersley, Joy Tankersley Skidmore, Josh Tankersley, Tina Lott Williams, Vanessa Lott Germain, Ryan Lott, Alex Lott; 14 great grandchildren, one sister, Judy Lott Cope of Tulsa, OK; five nephews, Chris Cope, Lasater Jones, Jeff Jones, Danny Ray Swafford and Mark Swafford; and 2 nieces, Amy Cope Canton and Laramie Bailey; and a multitude of friends.

John and his wife were the owners of Lott Auto Parts and Lott Motor Company in Huntsville, AL. He attended Big Cove Junior High School and Madison County High School where he was an FFA member and played basketball. In later years, he attended Agape Baptist Church in Scottsboro, AL. He was a lifelong servant of the Church of God reformation movement of Anderson, IN.

You may visit with the family at Valhalla Funeral Home on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 5 to 8pm. Visitation on Saturday, August 27, 2016 will begin at 12:00pm until 2:00pm, followed by funeral services conducted by Rev. Roger Mardis and Rev. John Michael Lott at 2:00pm in Valhalla's chapel.
