It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jon Joseph Loschiavo at the age of 57. Jon was born in Covington, Kentucky on April 18, 1967, and passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
Jon is loved and deeply missed by his wife Delora; daughters Dominique and Shelby; mother Faith; brothers Andy, Tom, Luke, Brent, and Ethan; and sisters Gina and Angie.
Jon was a Master Sergeant in the US Army and served in The Gulf War. After retiring from the Army in Alaska, Jon found his way to tiny Fort Greely, Alaska and joined the Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency in 2005. After 20 years in Alaska, Jon and his family moved south to settle in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
Beyond Jon’s lifetime of proud service to his country Jon was an enthusiastic fisherman, strong supporter of his large diverse family, lover of animals, and had a great sense of humor. Jon made an impression everywhere he went and will not be forgotten.
In place of a traditional memorial service, Jon has requested to “have a big party” Please join us in celebration over the loss of an unforgettable man, Jon J Loschiavo.
