

Julianna Lynna Durichek, 54, passed away on August 28, 2017 surrounded by her children and husband in Pueblo, Colorado. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on September 17th, 2017 from 2-4 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home located at 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811. Mrs. Durichek was born February 1, 1963 in Abilene, Texas to Robert and Barbara Teetz. She attended Bob Jones High School in Madison, Alabama and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Athens State University. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, reading, cooking, art, antiques, rescuing countless animals, and traveling, especially to the ocean. Mrs. Durichek is survived by her husband of 20 years, Allen Durichek; daughters, Morgan Passero, Mariah Durichek and Mary-Hannah Durichek; granddaughter, Aliyah Dye; mother, Barbara Bush; sister, Samantha Williams; niece, Katherine Williams; nephew, Thomas Williams; step-mother Linda Teetz; step-sister, Dana Adkins Davis and step-brother, Josh Adkins. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Teetz and step-father, Fred Bush. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Athens Limestone County Animal Shelter or a brain trauma charity of your choice.
