Linda Gail Mullins

She is survived by her beloved son, Kevin League; her brother, Randy Morgan, and his wife, Dianna; her cherished niece, Hannah Smith, and nephew, Hunter Morgan; as well as her great-nieces, Berkleigh Smith and Presley Morgan, and her great-nephew, Bennett Smith.

Linda began her strong work ethic early, starting at age 15 as a proofreader for the Northwest Alabamian newspaper. Before attending college, she worked as a bridal model, appearing in runway shows and magazine covers. She went on to attend the University of North Alabama, where she graduated early with honors, earning Magna Cum Laude distinction.

During her college years, Linda taught computer programming classes, worked in the library, and assisted college deans—demonstrating both ambition and intellectual excellence. She went on to become a pioneer as a woman in the technology field, building a distinguished career marked by leadership, numerous certifications, and professional achievements. Through dedication and perseverance, she rose to an executive level, earning the respect of colleagues and peers alike. She retired from Northrop Grumman after 17 years of service.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Linda was an artist at heart—a creative and multifaceted individual with a deep appreciation for expression and beauty. She loved to travel and loved new adventures. She enjoyed several cruises, and traveled extensively to places all over the US and overseas for work and pleasure. She was a fun-loving person who treasured time with family and friends, always ready for a good joke and a touch of lighthearted mischief. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and affectionate nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a service at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, located at 698 Winchester Road, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Floral arrangements may be made through Garden of Eden Florist on Winchester Road in Huntsville.

Linda’s light and legacy will be remembered always by those whose lives she touched with her grace, strength, and unwavering spirit.
