

LOUISE WILSON McCAULEY November 26, 1918 – February 02, 2015 Mrs. Louise Wilson McCauley, 96, returned to her heavenly home on Monday, February 2, 2015. Mrs. McCauley was a vibrant Christian, firm in her belief in God and dedicated to her family. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Huntsville for many years. Louise was best known by all her family and close friends as “Mother”. Mrs. McCauley was born to the late George and Alice Gilchrist Wilson in Lawrence County, AL on November 26, 1918. She was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support from an early age. Louise received her education from the Lawrence County School System and continued her education to become a beautician. After moving to Huntsville, she met and married her husband Emmitt McCauley. This marriage was blessed for seventeen years until God saw fit to call him home to rest. Louise was employed with Redstone Arsenal AAFEES Exchange until she retired. After retirement, she relocated to San Antonio, TX, where she resided with her daughter. Mrs. McCauley is survived by her daughter, Luvinia (Alfred) Bradford of San Antonio, TX; son, Mayor George (Wanda) Sanders of St. Robert, MO; four grandchildren, Vance (Debra) Bradford of San Antonio, Voletta (Kenny) Marshall of Louisville, KY, Tammi (Andre) Woodard of San Antonio, Vincent Bradford (deceased); five great-grandchildren, Chelsea (Dan) Stecher of Austin, TX, Alex Marshall of Louisville, KY, Devin Woodard of Austin, TX and Nathan Woodard of San Antonio, Jeffery (Kelly) Chinn of Jacksonville, FL; two great-great- grandchildren, Leo and Everly Stecher; eight god-children, Gwendolyn Miller, Earnestine Brown (deceased), Louise Brandon, Terry Ceadar, Matilda Wilson, Lennie Green, Glory Looney, William T. Robinson III and a host of relatives and friends. You may visit with the family at Valhalla Funeral Home on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 7:00 until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at First Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm, with the Reverend Earla S. Lockhart officiating.
