Marcella Jones Kepler, age 89, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. She was born April 29, 1934, in Huntsdale, PA and graduated from Shippensburg High School in 1951. Marcella was married in June of 1951.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair Kepler, Jr., her parents John and Eva Jones of Leesburg, PA, brothers Robert and Herman Jones of Shippensburg, PA and granddaughter, Sara Kepler. Survivors include her daughter, Debra Kepler of Huntsville, sons, Lee Kepler (Patsy) of Ft. Myers, Florida, Rick Kepler of Hampton Cove, AL, Jack Kepler of Huntsville, and Jeff Kepler (Katrina) of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Marcella is also survived by her brother, William Jones of Shippensburg, PA, 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Marcella loved her family deeply and they always came first. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening and spending time with her loved ones. She was a member of TOPS and the Garden Club.
A Celebration of Life Service for Marcella will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:00 am at Valhalla Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811.
