Margaret Emond Marzola

Margaret E. Marzola passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2024 in Huntsville, AL at the age of 73 years old. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. Margaret was born on June 25, 1950, in Long Island, NY, to parents Ernest and Mary Emond.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Edward Marzola and their cat Bailey; her children Chris Heusmann, Bryan Heusmann and his wife, Desiri; Melissa Sroka and her husband, Edward; Jaylin Terrebonne, daughter to Desiri Terrebonne and Bryan Heusmann. Margaret will be greatly missed as “Nana” by her grandchildren Mikayla Kelly and Alex Sroka. The older sister to siblings Mary Anne Harting and Ernest Emond Jr., she leaves behind nephews Matthew Trenka and Ryan Harting, Ethan and Aiden Emond, ex-husband James Heusmann, as well as assorted family and caring friends in other states.

Margaret was an accomplished Registered Nurse and remained knowledgeable in the field after retirement. Margaret enjoyed cooking, gardening, and a passion for the ASPCA. She was a dedicated grandmother and a kind friend to many during difficult times.

Visitation for Margaret will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 625 Airport Rd, Huntsville, AL 35802, followed by a luncheon at the Church.
