Mrs. Marie Morgan, of Taft, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015 in Fayetteville, Tennessee
at the age of 76. Mrs. Morgan was a former resident of Hazel Green. Mrs. Morgan was born in Tellico Plains, Tennessee
on July 10, 1938 to Leonard W. and Mary Estelle McConkey.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by a brother, Grady McConkey; and sister, Mildred O’Shields.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Billy G. Morgan; daughter, Kathy Green (Chris);
son, Gary Morgan; grandson, Sean O’Briant (Whitney); granddaughter, Shannon O’Briant; and brother, Austin McConkey (Betty).
The family will be present to receive friends at Valhalla Funeral Home on Friday, March 27, 2015
from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Minister Wayne Harvell officiating.
Interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
