Mary Ann Glaze

At an early age, Mary confessed her faith, which guided her throughout her life. She was deeply devoted to her family and lived with love, strength, and purpose.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Willie B. Glaze Jr., beloved daughter, Gwendolyn Spinks, and her cherished grandchildren, Ashayla Jelks and Drevion Watkins and great grandson, Kyron Jelks.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Rachelle Glaze and Ethell Jelks; her grandchildren, Devri Jelks, Ladasia Word, Shakur Griffin, and Christopher Shears; and her 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great joy in her life.

Mary dedicated over 30 years of service as a valued employee of Windsor House, where she was respected and loved for her commitment and kindness.

Mary Ann Glaze will forever be remembered for her unwavering faith, enduring love, and the inspiration she gave to all who were blessed to know her.

Public visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Road NE, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 1:00pm in Valhalla's Celebration Chapel. Ms. Glaze will lie in repose one hour prior to service time.
