Mary Evelyn (Nixon) Taylor, age 93, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Evelyn was born January 30, 1927 in Marshall County, Alabama to Mary Bucklew Nixon and Marion T Nixon.

Evelyn is survived by daughter, Peggy Duenas; grandchildren, Patricia Henry, Phillip Gibson, Heather Tichenor, Juan Duenas, Miranda Davidson, David Jenkins, Joseph Jenkins, great grandchildren, Tabitha Thrasher, Natasha Pruitt, Randy Parker, Janie Gibson, Cassandra Gibson, Tony Duenas, Parker Bambakakis, Micheal Newsom, Jake Duenas, Kathrine Duenas, Claire Davidson, Cooper Davidson, Evelyn Jenkins and great great grandchildren, Tyler, Brodie, Darby, Sarah, Gracelynn, Haley.

Evelyn was preceded in death by daughter, Linda McDaniel, son, Mike Jenkins, father, Marion T Nixon, and mother, Mary Bucklew Nixon.

A visitation for Evelyn will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Garden.
