Neal Burton Anderson

Neal Burton Anderson, age 90, of Madison, Alabama passed away on Saturday November 24, 2018. Neal was born June 17, 1928 in Lewisburg, Alabama to Hershel Burton and Irene Estes Anderson. As a teenager they move to Hillview, Alabama then to Brookwood, Alabama. Mr. Anderson entered the Army at age 21 in 1948. He served in the Army until 1969 and retired as a CW03 with 21 years of service to his country. After retirement at age 50 entered Auburn University and graduated in March of 1979 with a BS in Building Science. Worked for MyCom Missile Command for the government and retired at age 62. He meet the love of his life Ernestine in 1951 in Brookwood, Alabama, they married in 1951 and were married 67 years. Some of Mr. Anderson’s hobbies included being an accomplished self taught artist, also after retirement loved to play golf and bowled.

A Visitation for Neal will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. at Valhalla Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will occur Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel. An Entombment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens, 698 WINCHESTER RD NE, HUNTSVILLE, Alabama 35811.
