Mrs. Mooney is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Fred O Brown and Irma C (Parker) Brown; beloved husband, Charles Mooney, brothers Fred O. Brown Jr. and Howard Lavere Brown, sister Vera Estella Johnston, and step-daughter, Sandra Jane Mooney.
Left to cherish her are daughters, Cynthia Legowik and Tammy Senterfit, her step-son Victor Mooney, and sister Carolyn A. Tomanio. Mrs. Mooney is also survived by seven grandchildren,13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Mrs. Mooney was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to everyone she met. She had a long career with NASA in Finance and Accounting. She loved the Lord and was a long time member of Willowbrook Baptist Church. She loved her family with all her heart and enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for them. In her free time she enjoyed crafting and making beautiful hand made greeting cards to send to her friends and family. She was selfless and giving and wanted nothing more than to help others and bring joy to people’s lives. She was an angel on earth.

A visitation for Peggy will be held Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Valhalla Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 AM, with burial at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
