Roland Wayne McClure

Roland Wayne McClure, age 78, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021, from multiple illnesses and cancer. Roland was born December 8, 1942 in St. Louis, MO to the late Connie and Nellie Mae McClure. Roland retired from Chrysler and IBM. He was a member of the North Alabama Antique Auto Club of America winning many trophies with his prized 1978 25th Silver Anniversary Corvette. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association.

Roland is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Marena McClure and Brother: Dexter Allen McClure (Joyce), and K-9’s: Bubbles (Pomeranian) and Toby (Yorkshire Terrier). Other survivors are Nieces: Heather Roberts (Chris), Andrea King (Ben), Sheena Cooke (Paul), Alicia Ford (Brad) and Amanda Abernathy (Brandon); Nephew: Lawrence Miles; Great Nieces: Caitlyn King, Courtney Roberts, Emma Cooke, Karah Ford, and Brookelynn Abernathy; Great Nephews: Teddy Roberts, Coen Cooke, Braxton Abernathy, Kurtis Miller, and Kalob Ford; Great-Great Nephew: Grafton Miller; Brother-in-law: Carey Miles (Betty), and Sister-in-law: Melinda McLemore (Ronnie). Roland was predeceased by his parents and Brothers-in-law: Donnie Miles and Billy Miles, and Nephew: Shannon Miles.
