Rosie Beatrice Helton

Graveside services for Rosie Beatrice Miller Helton, age 86 of New Market, Alabama, will be Friday, Sept. 16, 2016 at 10:00am at Valhalla Memory Gardens, Huntsville, AL. Interment will immediately follow. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Bea, as she was affectionately known, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016 in Huntsville, AL. She was born on Dec. 31, 1929 in Madison County, AL to the late Mose Aaron Miller and Rosie Turner Miller Winsett. Beatrice was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. She had a passion for gardening and quilting; but what was most dear to her heart was cooking large meals for her family. In addition to Beatrice’s parents, she was welcomed into life eternal by her beloved husband, J.B. Helton, three brothers and five sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Linda Frady (Don) of Mesquite, NV and Patsy Elkins (Larry) of Huntsville, AL; four granddaughters, De De Coleman (Brian) of Draper, UT, Lisa Statum (Geoff) of Huntsville, AL, Marlana Kosky (Eric) of Missoula, MT and Wendy Shelt (Will) of Huntsville, AL. Beatrice also leaves to continue her legacy three great grandsons, Derek Coleman of Draper, UT, Bryant Statum and Nate Shelt, both of Huntsville, AL; three great granddaughters, Lindsey Coleman of Draper, UT, Whitney Cowan and EmaLeigh Shelt, both of Huntsville, AL.
