Veronica was born on December 3, 1963, and throughout her life, she was a shining light to all who knew and loved her. She was a devoted mother whose love knew no limits, always putting her family first and offering strength, comfort, and guidance through every season of life.
Veronica faced many challenges in her life, but through it all, one thing never changed—she always made sure her children knew they were loved. That love was constant, unconditional, and will remain with them forever.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, her warm spirit, and her unmistakable spark—she was truly a firecracker, full of personality, strength, and spirit. Veronica found joy in the simple but meaningful things in life—she loved her dogs, cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide, and most of all, spending precious time with her granddaughters. Being a MawMaw was the highlight of her life, and the love she shared with Priscila, Eva, Addison, and Destinee brought her endless happiness.
She is survived by her loving children: her daughter Lee-Ann (Shawn), her son Jason, and her daughter Ashley; her cherished granddaughters, Priscila, Eva, Addison, and Destinee; and her sisters, Ronda and Malynda, along with many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Her love, laughter, and memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
A celebration of Veronica’s life will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 1:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Road NE, Huntsville, AL 35811.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing her love will never leave us. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
