Alicia A. Deogracias

Alicia (Alcantara) Deogracias, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away July 3, 2020. She was born February 14, 1927 in Manila, Philippines to the late Damaso and Emilia (Yia) Alcantara. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Alicia loved to dance and sing. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church and Catholicism was very important to her. She went to church daily and belonged to a rosary group. She also volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital for several years Alicia is survived by her children, Frank (Karen) Deogracias, Eva (Paul) Depa; Cecilia (John) Lok, Carmelo (Shari) Deogracias, and John (Lynnette) Deogracias; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Francisco Deogracias, and son, Angelo Deogracias. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Marquette Manor, 8140 Township Line Rd., Indianapolis, Indiana, 46260 or St. Luke Catholic Church, 7575 Holliday Drive East, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46260.
