Bharatkumar Mangulal Pandya

Bharatkumar Pandya, 85, passed away peacefully on January 24th, 2026 at his home in Indiana. He is survived by his wife, three children, and grandchildren. He was born on May 25,1940 to Mangulal and Dahiben Pandya in Thasra, Gujarat and was later raised in Anghadi, Gujarat. He attended Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, India, and worked at the Alembic Chemical Industry in Baroda for much of his time in India. He married Jaybalaben Pandya in 1964 and was blessed with two sons, Gopal and Ghanshyam, and one daughter, Sheetal.

He moved to America in 2002 alongside his wife, daughter and son-in-law, and thoroughly enjoyed living here with his family. Bharatkumar was known for his infectious smile, courteousness, and kindness. He had a very big heart, a strong love for his family, and was a constant ray of positivity to those around him. He was fond of watching sports, reading, attending his grandchildren’s school functions, and Bollywood concerts. Above all, Bharatkumar was someone who found joy in the simple things – being a grandfather, time spent with his family, and expressing his steady and unconditional love.

He will be dearly missed by his family, siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In Lieu of Flowers, contributions will be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
