Born with a deep appreciation for life’s simple and beautiful moments, Jacob carried with him a lifelong love of family, nature, and the calming presence of the beach. Having lived in San Diego, California the past four-and-a-half years, he remained forever connected to the ocean and the culinary scene, where he found peace and inspiration.
Jake had a natural passion and talent for music. Whether playing guitar or piano, he found joy in expressing himself and connecting with others through melodies that spanned all genres. Music was not just a hobby for him—it was a constant companion and a reflection of his spirit.
In addition to his musical talents, Jake enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, where he explored his love of cooking. More recently, he discovered a newfound appreciation for fishing, embracing the quiet and patience it offered. He also developed a lighthearted tolerance for golf, enjoying the time spent outdoors and with his father, more than the game itself.
Above all, Jake will be remembered for his love of family and the warmth he brought to those around him. His presence, laughter, and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jacob is survived by his loving parents, Doug and Diane Baldessari, his twin sister, Anna Baldessari-Long (Alex Long), and his sister Jordan Wright, along with his cherished grandparents, Joan and Dave Baldessari, and Carol Oliker.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on May 16, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at Leppert Mortuary – Nora, 740 East 86th St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm at Leppert Mortuary – Nora.
Jacob’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the music, nature, and moments of peace he cherished so deeply.
