June Rose Cosby

Survivors include her two sons, Steven (Kathryn) Cosby and Andrew Cosby; two grandchildren, Kristin (Philip) Schaefer and Daniel Cosby; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald and daughter, Laura.

June received her Master’s degree from Butler University. She taught elementary school for many years in Carmel. After teaching, she owned a Real Estate Business. She was an active member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was the President of the Women’s Society of Christian Services. June also enjoyed gardening.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 4-7 PM at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Union Chapel United Methodist Church, 2720 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN. Burial to follow at Union Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Habitat for Humanity (Greater Indy), 3135 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46208.
