Mark A. Anderson

He was born on May 29, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Kenneth and Beverley Anderson, and was raised in Carmel, Indiana. He graduated from Carmel High School in 1981.

Mark graduated from Ball State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Business Marketing and was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. On October 20, 2007, he married Connie Wolfe, with whom he shared many meaningful years.

Mark built a strong and dedicated career marked by an exceptional work ethic. He began in restaurant management from 1985 to 1990. In 1989, he joined H&R Block, where he served as a Master Tax Advisor for over three decades. From 2005 to 2020, he also worked as a mortgage loan officer. Mark was well known for his commitment to his work, often dedicating more than 60 hours a week throughout his career.

Above all, Mark’s greatest passion was his family—especially his daughters, Sierra and Christie. He was actively involved in supporting their activities during their youth, including cheerleading and volunteered countless hours in fundraising efforts at racing and sporting events. His commitment to fundraising continued well beyond their childhood, reflecting his enduring dedication to supporting others and giving back to the community.

Mark was extremely social and had a wide network of friends. He had a natural ability to connect with others, and even those who had just met him quickly became friends.

Mark is survived by his wife, Connie (Wolfe) Anderson; his daughters, Sierra Smith (David) and Christie Anderson; his grandchildren, Ryker, Hudson, and Rose; and his brother, Michael Anderson (Heather).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Beverley Anderson, and his former wife, Stacy Goodman, the mother of his children.

Visitation will be held at Leppert Mortuary & Crematory Services - Nora, 740 East 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46240, on April 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Funeral Service will be at Leppert Mortuary & Crematory Services - Nora on April 10, 2026, at 2:00. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
