Martha Ann Bettis went to be home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 20, 2025. She was born May 3, 1925, in Amarillo, TX to Ernest and Celestia (Kelley) Allen. Ann is survived by two daughters, Jeannine and Susan, and preceded in death by daughter Rebecca. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Byron N. Bettis, whom she married September 21, 1951, in Norfolk, VA.
Ann was a proud West Texas girl. She was successful at anything she put her hand to, including contract bridge, sewing, interior design, and making friends. She was beloved by many.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 1-2 PM at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. Burial will follow at Union Chapel Cemetery.
