Nancy L. Ingebrand

Nancy L. Ingebrand, age 80, of Marco Island, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson's and late stage dementia. Nancy was born to Maurice and Louise Paris in Evansville, Indiana on September 21, 1942. In college at the University of Evansville she met the love of her life, her husband Richard, and was married on June 2, 1964. Nancy and Richard were blessed to have two children and live a life full of global travel and adventure. Through the course of their marriage they lived in Indiana, Wisconsin, Maryland, Illinois, Colorado, Florida and Ohio making great memories and friends wherever they went.

In the early years Nancy was employed at Sun Oil Company, Ohio State University and Fox River Paper Company where she excelled with her short hand skills. Nancy became a full-time homemaker with the birth of her son and actively supported charities, church and school organizations throughout her life. She dedicated her life to putting everyone else first with a focus on how she could quietly make a difference in her community and with others who were less fortunate.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, two children Scott (Eileen) Ingebrand and Jennifer (Matt) Mitchell. Nancy had six grandchildren: Jess, Ryan, Tyler Ingebrand and Megan, Tommy, and Emily Mitchell. Her first great-grandchild is due any day to Ryan (Laura) Ingebrand. Nancy is survived by her brother (Maurice Paris) and sister (Susan Ising). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janice Miller.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46260, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow.
