

Ronald J. Leeds, age 89, of Noblesville, IN and formerly of Naples, FL, passed away on March 17, 2026. Ronald was born on August 27, 1936, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Raymond and Martha (Miller) Leeds. At the age of three, his family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended grade school at Saint Patrick and Little Flower, then attended high school at Cathedral High School. After his primary education, he attended pharmacy school at Butler University finishing a semester early.
Ronald married his high school sweetheart, who was the girl across the street. They were married for 68 loving years.
He worked as a pharmacist, holding various positions with retail pharmacies in Indianapolis and other states. In 1998, he retired.
Ronald enjoyed travelling with his family. They made many trips to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to visit grandma and grandpa (Ron’s mom and stepfather). After retirement, he settled in Naples, Florida, with his childhood sweetheart Sharon.
Ronald enjoyed camping and fishing with his family. He was the Cub Scout Master for a local boy scout troop when his boys were young. He was a fan of auto racing, including all forms of open-wheel racing (midgets, sprints, champ cars) and stock cars (NASCAR). He attended many Indy 500’s and one Daytona 500.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Sharon Lee (McNierney) Leeds; his children, Barbara Lissner (Steve), Jamie Leeds, Dennis Leeds (Jane), Kevin Leeds (Diane), and Cathleen Scheer (Ken); Grandchildren, Allison Lidstrom (John), Stacey Seeger (Jordan), Daniel Leeds (Kayla), Patrick Lissner (Hannah), Erin Gaskill (Adam), Caitlin Babel (Mahak), Chelsea Myrick (Shawn), Griffin Leeds, Maxwell Leeds (Jessica), Samuel Leeds, Mallory Leeds, Sarah Semik (Thomas), Austin Scheer (Tara), Colleen Scheer;
Great-grandchildren, Connor Lidstrom, Luke Lidstrom, Riley Lidstrom, Jack Seeger, Wesley Seeger, Brett Seeger, Andrew Lissner, Axel Babel, Beau Leeds, Rosie Leeds, Eleanor Semik, Callum Scheer.
Visitation will be held at Leppert Mortuary & Crematory Services - Nora, 740 East 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46240, on March 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Memorial Service at the same location on March 23, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Final resting place will be Calvary Cemetery, 435 W. Troy Avenue, Indianapolis.
