Varun Manish Chheda

Varun Manish Chheda, age 20, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Varun was born November 15, 2001 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Seema Dedhiya and Manish Chheda. Varun is survived by his father Manish Chheda and his mother Seema Dedhiya; his sister Kavya Chheda; his grandparents Nemjee and Jaya Chheda and his grandparents Dhirajlal and Ansuyaben Dedhiya. Varun was a Purdue University Junior undergraduate. He was a member of KTA (Korea Taekwondo Academy). Varun was a National Merit Scholarship Award Winner and a national runner up in the Science Bowl Competition in 2016. He was also in the Purdue Honors College. His parents were the luckiest and blessed to have him as a son. He was the most caring and protective brother who played tricks galore and was his sister’s biggest champion. He was the pride and joy of his grandparents. He was well behaved, respectful and considerate of his uncles and aunts. He was a player who necessitated his sister and cousins to gang up to win against him in any and all games involving strategy. To his friends he was the guy “you would want to hang with”. He loved the sciences, was very inquisitive and his passion for any subject matter was contagious. He enjoyed the simple things in life and never sought out attention or praise for his accomplishments. His absence will be sorely felt by those who knew and loved him. A visitation for Varun will be held Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary – Nora, 740 East 86th St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240.
