Born in Margaree Forks on November 15, 1917, she was the daughter of the late
John M. and Maggie (Mackinnon) Cameron.
She was a kind and gentle soul, who would welcome anyone into her home to wait
on them with pots of tea, fresh baking, and heartfelt hospitality. With the Celtic
music flowing so thick through her blood, she helped raise talented musicians,
Maebell (piano), Cameron (fiddle), and Margaret (fiddle), and also dabbled in
some fiddle playing herself.

in life like entertaining friends in her home, listening to music, or enjoying a good
game of cards or bingo. She is survived by sons, John Archie (Electa) Cameron;
