It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of our Betty at the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 3. Born in 1935 to Malcolm Finlay R. and Cassie MacDonald (Mabou). Betty is survived by her children: Dan, Jay, Finlay, Donald and Frances; granddaughter Sophie, sisters Catherine, Christina, Annie Mae and Jenny, brothers Pat, Herbie and Leo. She is predeceased by her husband Dan Alex (Dak), daughter Cathy and brothers Finlay and Allister.
Family will be available at the church from 10:00 until 11:00 on Wednesday . Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 7 at St. Margaret’s of Scotland Catholic Church in Broad Cove with Fr. Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.invernessfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s memory may be made to Palliative Care or a charity of your choice.
