Glenda Ann Clark

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Glenda on September 18, 2025 in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital surrounded by her boys.

Glenda was the oldest daughter of the late Donald and Coletta Timmons of Margaree Centre.

Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Bobby; and two sons, Robert (Margie), and Adam (Nadine).

She was a loving and proud nanny to Ben (Kenzie), Bobbi (JC), Rylan, Becca (Brian), Jake (Selina), Seph; and great grandmother to David, Jessi, Rose Ellen, Walter and Della.

Glenda is also survived by her sisters, Wanda (Joe), Cindy and Crystal (Clifford); brothers, Johnny (Rose Mary), Jeffery, Richard (Linda), Dexter and Brent (Bernice); brothers-in-law, Eddy, Ray, Bernie (Carol), Jimmy (Gail), David (Charlene), Cecil (Lise); sisters- in-law, Lillian (RJ), Debby (Don), Ethel (Bernie), Willena, and Brenda.

Glenda was predeceased by infant son, Cecil; infant brother-in-law, David; brothers, Donald and Kirt; sister, Marsha; brother-in-law, Gordon; and nieces, Raylene and Colleen. She was also predeceased by her in-laws, Jessie and Cecil Clarke.

She is remembered and loved by several nieces and nephews; Uncle Earl, and her beloved pet Murphy.

She made her career at Gisele’s Inn in Baddeck where her coworkers became family for more than 30 years. Special thank you to Mr. Khan and family for your generosity and support. Mom was happiest when her house was full of friends and family, always serving coffee, tea and an abundance of homemade goodies, forever remembered for her turkey dinners, strawberry shortcake and her famous Mississippi Mud that was always a birthday must.

Special thank you to the compassionate care of Central Inverness Palliative Care Society, nurses and doctors of Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital and community care nurses. Special thank you to her granddaughters, Becca and Bobbi and sisters, Cindy and Wanda for your hours of love and dedication at home to be able to keep mom comfortable as long as possible.

Visitation will be held in Wilson United Church Hall in Margaree Centre Saturday October 4, 2025, from 1-3pm. Burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society.
