MacDonald Mary Margaret, Age 92, Inverness, formerly of Dunvegan, passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2015, in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Born in Dunvegan on May 9, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Hugh R and Mary (MacPherson) MacDonald. She was a member of Stella Maris Church, Inverness and St. Margaret of Scotland, Church, Broad Cove. Margaret was also a retired employee of the city of Halifax, and the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her sisters, Florence, Isabel and Rose; brothers, Rev. Rod, John and Hugh in infancy. As per her request there will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 24 at 11 a.m. in St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Broad Cove with Fr. Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stella Maris Building Fund, Inverness or to St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Broad Cove.
