

Graham, Ronald John “Rannie” - 91, of Shore Rd, Port Hood, passed away Wednesday, July 13 th,2011, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. Born on November 1, 1919, he was the son of the late William J. and Mary (MacDonald) Graham. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Rita (MacIsaac) of 54 years and son, Michael. Ronald was a lifelong citizen of the Shore Road where he was well -known and respected by all. He was a devoted member of St. Peter’s Parish, Port Hood and was an active community-minded person. Everyone that knew Rita and Rannie enjoyed their company while having a good cup of tea over a story told at their house on the Shore Rd. He was an employee of the C.N.R. Railway and Gulf Oil for many years. With his devoted wife, Ronald resided at the Inverary Manor for past few years. He was predeceased by daughter, Lillian; sisters, Margaret and Cecilia. Visitation will be held in Port Hood and Area Resting Place on Sunday, July 17, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. from St. Peter’s Church, Port Hood on Monday, with Father Vincent Van Zutphen officiating; burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Inverary Manor, Inverness or to St. Peter’s Parish Cemetery Fund, Port Hood.
