Sadie was born November 22, 1946. She was a daughter of the late Hector and Danena (Mac Donald) MacKinnon.
Sadie grew up on the family farm in Mull River. After graduating high school she went on to become a nurse. She worked in Windsor Ont. and made many trips to Detroit to visit with family and friends before returning home to Cape Breton to work in Inverness. Sadie could be found driving to work through a snow storm in her volkswagen beetle nicknamed Herbie and many other cars wearing the famous skidoo suit well prepared and always made it. She was a avid lover of animals especially Black Basil her retired race horse. She is leaving us all behind with a lot of great stories, laughs and memories.

Mac Gillivray, Mull River; Anne Marie, (Donald John) Mac Kinnon, Orangedale; and Margaret Gawluk, Calgary; sisters in-law, Lydia and Barb of Winnipeg; and many nieces and nephews.
