MacDonald, Shirley passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Cobourg on Tuesday January 18, 2011 in her 78 year. Shirley MacQuarrie beloved wife of the late Malcolm MacDonald. Dear mother of Brent (Shawna – Seah) and Alana O’Neill (Brad). Loving grandmother of Alexandra (6) Ethan (5) Kenzie (3). Sister of Joyce Marks (Bob) of Halifax; Margaret Rose Jay (Al) of Rockwood; Winston MacQuarrie (Faye) of Windsor and the late Mora MacQuarrie. Visitation will be held in Inverness Funeral Home on Sunday January 23, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday January 24 at 11 a.m. from St. John’s United Church, Strathlorne with Pastor Maggie Plant celebrating.
